Designer Spotlight: Nervous System Jewelry

Inspired by the complex forms of nature from a scientific perspective, Nervous System jewelry turns the shapes found under a microscope into beautiful, organic forms of jewelry.

Founded in 2007 by a pair of MIT graduates Jesse and Jessica, their design process not only is inspired by natural geometric formations but also by a continuously evolving design system that uses algorithms. These tools are released to the public online in the form of "interactice applets" which allow the user to create their own one-of-a-kind piece of Nervous System jewelry.

Christopher Collins is a San Francisco-based designer whose design philosophy is “To make someone feel beautiful, fresh, natural and new.” The Christopher Collins collection, which was launched with Collins' lifetime friend Erica Tanamachi, specializes in tailored yet wearable separates in luxurious materials. Most recently featured on Project Runway, Christopher Collins' chic separates will easily make its way into daily rotation!
